Auburn football adds Middle Tennessee State to 2027 schedule
Auburn football has added Middle Tennessee State to its 2027 nonconference schedule. The Tigers is set to host the Blue Raiders Sept. 11th.
Middle Tennessee State joins Missouri State as the early out of conference opponents on the Tigers 2027 schedule.
The Blue Raiders joins a future Auburn nonconference slate that includes Baylor, Ball State, South Alabama and Mercer this season. Baylor, Southern Miss and Jacksonville State in 2027, North Alabama in 2028, and a back-to-back series with Miami from 2029-30.
Former Auburn defensive coordinator Derek Mason will return back to the plains, entering his second season as the head coach for the Blue Raiders. Former Auburn All-American Kendall Simmons also serves as the team’s offensive line coach.
