Auburn football adds former NFL executive to its personnel staff
Auburn football continues to bolster its front office staff, as the Tigers are hiring former New York Jets assistant general manager Rex Hogan, a source confirmed to AL.com.
Hogan will be the Tigers’ director of college scouting, working alongside general manger Will Redmond. He’s the second front office addition of the past two days, after it was reported on Tuesday that the Tigers are expected to hire Jovon Hubbard from Arkansas to be the program’s assistant GM.
Hogan’s most recent stint with the Jets as assistant GM was from 2019-2024, but he was the franchise’s director of college scouting from 2015-2016.
He also spent two years as the Indianapolis Colts’ vice president for player personnel and 12 years as a scout with the Chicago Bears.
