Auburn expected to hire Arkansas personnel director to front office role, reports say
Auburn football is expected to hire Arkansas director of player personnel Jovon Hubbard to its front office, according to reports from FootballScoop, On3 and CBSSports.
According to the reports, Hubbard is set to become Auburn’s assistant general manager, working closely with general manager Will Redmond. Hubbard had worked with head coach Sam Pittman at Arkansas for two years, but spent three seasons with Hugh Freeze at Liberty.
He also has NFL experience, participating in NFL internship programs with the Atlanta Falcons and Green Bay Packers.
The hire comes while Auburn is trying to build its 2026 recruiting class back up. The class currently ranks 65th in the country, according to 247Sports, but recently added a commitment from top 100 in-state prospect Jaquez Wilkes.
