Auburn DL Wilky Denaud to enter transfer portal after one season with the Tigers

Auburn freshman defensive lineman Wilky Denaud is expected to enter the transfer portal after one season with the Tigers, according to reports from On3 and 247Sports.

Denuad did not play during his first collegiate season. He enrolled early at Auburn to be with the team through spring practices.

Denuad is a former four-star recruit from Stuart, Florida. He committed to Auburn under head coach Bryan Harsin and maintained his commitment to sign with Auburn after Harsin was fired and Hugh Freeze was named the new head coach.

On Sept. 1, the night before Auburn’s season opener against UMass, Denaud was arrested on a warrant and charged with third-degree theft of property, a felony offense. According to the arrest report, Denaud stole an electronic scooter valued at $650 on Aug. 30. He was released from a Lee County jail after posting a $1,500 bail.
