Auburn freshman defensive end Amaris Williams plans to enter the transfer portal, he announced in a post on Instagram with On3’s Hayes Fawcett.

Williams spent one season at Auburn, tallying six tackles, one and a half tackles for loss and half a sack in 10 games in 2024. He was rated as a five-star recruit in the 2024 class by 247Sports and was the No. 30 overall player in the country.

In the 247Sports rankings, Williams was the second-highest rated player in Auburn’s 2024 recruiting class, trailing only Cam Coleman. He has three years of eligibility remaining.
