Auburn center Johni Broome leaves game vs. Georgia State with arm injury
Standout Auburn center Johni Broome exited the game against Georgia State with an apparent injury to his right arm.
The injury occurred just over two minutes into the game while Broome was attempting to grab a rebound. He came down holding his right arm near his shoulder and immediately ran into the tunnel. He was replaced by Chaney Johnson at the end of the play.
Broome has not returned to the game, but returned to the end of the bench wearing a sweatshirt and has ice on his shoulder.
Andy Burcham of Auburn Athletics confirmed on the Auburn radio broadcast that Broome will be reevaluated at halftime.
Broome did not return to start the second half, and the Auburn radio broadcast said that he will miss the rest of the game. He returned to the bench shortly after the second half started with his right arm in a sling.
