After a 1-0 week featuring a 21-point win over Georgia, Auburn is now No. 11 in the Associated Press top 25 poll released Monday. It’s a three-spot jump from Auburn’s ranking at No. 14 last week.

This is the Tigers’ ninth consecutive week ranked and fourth straight week in the top 15.

The following six SEC teams are in the top 25 poll this week:

• No. 4 Tennessee
• No. 11 Auburn
• No. 14 Alabama
• No. 16 Kentucky
• No. 18 South Carolina
• No. 24 Florida

Auburn is 21-6 overall this season and 10-4 in the SEC. It is one game back of conference leaders Alabama and Tennessee. In what will be a crucial game for Auburn’s hopes of an SEC title, the Tigers will play the Volunteers at 6 p.m. Wednesday night in Knoxville, Tennessee.

Auburn will return home Saturday to face Mississippi State with tip-off scheduled for 3 p.m. at Neville Arena.
