Auburn AD John Cohen is bringing Rhett Hobart on as deputy athletic director

Auburn athletic director John Cohen is hiring Rhett Hobart as deputy athletic director. Hobart announced on Friday via Twitter.

“My love for Mississippi State and its people runs deep, which makes this a bittersweet post to type,” Hobart said on Twitter. “Next week, I will wrap up this chapter; very thankful for time spent working at my Alma Mater. I’m thrilled to soon be headed to The Plains to join @AuburnTigers as Deputy AD!”

Hobart returned to Mississippi State in May 2022 as Executive Senior Associate Athletic Director for External Affairs after spending two years at Wake Forest, where he was Associate Athletic Director, Fan Experience & Brand Development.
