ASWA football rankings: Only 1 change to top-ranked teams in final poll

The final Alabama Sports Writers Association high school football rankings feature one change among No. 1 teams heading into the first round of playoffs.

Class 2A Highland Home — formerly No. 2 — moved to No. 1 after previous top-ranked Pisgah suffered its first loss of the season, falling to Sylvania.

The remainder of No. 1 teams retained the top spot with Class 7A Auburn, Class 6A Saraland, Class 5A Montgomery Catholic, Class 4A Jackson, Class 3A T.R. Miller, Class 1A Wadley and AISA Chambers Academy still No. 1.
