1 TD pass and two interceptions for Oklahoma QB Michael Hawkins this season. Hawkins has completed 48-of-77 passes for 536 yards in six games. Jackson Arnold, the Sooners’ leading passer in 2024 with 12 TD passes and 1,421 yards, is transferring to Auburn.

1 Previous bowl for Navy against an SEC opponent. The Midshipmen defeated Ole Miss 21-0 in the Sugar Bowl on Jan. 1, 1955. The Armed Forces Bowl will be Navy’s first game against an SEC opponent since a 24-21 loss to South Carolina on Sept. 17, 2011. Navy’s most recent victory against the SEC opponent came on Sept. 25, 2004, when the Midshipmen posted a 29-26 win over Vanderbilt. Navy has a record of 7-11-2 against SEC opponents.

2 Interceptions apiece have been returned for TDs by Navy CB Dashaun Peele and Oklahoma LB Kip Lewis this season. They were among the five players with two pick-sixes in 2024 entering the bowl season. Peele has four interceptions and Lewis two in 2024.

2 Previous appearances by Navy in the Armed Forces Bowl. The Midshipmen defeated Middle Tennessee 24-6 in 2013 and lost to Louisiana Tech 48-45 in 2016.

13 TD passes for Navy QB Blake Horvath, tied for the school single-season record. Horvath also has 15 rushing TDs in 2024. With 1,091 rushing yards, Horvath is the first Navy player with 1,000 since 2019. With 1,084 passing yards, he’s also the first Navy player with 1,000 since 2019.

14 Fumbles have been lost by Oklahoma, tied for the most in the nation entering the bowl season. Navy has recovered six of its opponents’ 19 fumbles in 2024.

26 Consecutive seasons with a bowl appearance for Oklahoma. The Sooners most recently failed to play in a bowl in the 1998 season, which Oklahoma finished with a 5-6 record. The Sooners have a 31-25-1 bowl record.

30 Navy players will be back in their home state for the bowl. Texas is the most-represented state on the Midshipmen’s roster, ahead of Georgia and Maryland, which have 19 apiece.

88.9 Percent of their extra-point kicks were made by Oklahoma’s opponents, the lowest conversion rate in the nation entering the bowl season. The Sooners’ opponents went 24-of-27 on PATs. Navy has missed four extra points this season, going 43-of-47.

90 Consecutive victories for Oklahoma when holding its opponent to 22 or fewer points. The streak started after a 10-3 loss to Nebraska on Nov. 7, 2009. Navy scored fewer than 28 points in three games this season – the Midshipmen’s losses to Notre Dame, Rice and Tulane, in which they totaled 24 points.

104 Points for Navy and seven points for its opponents after turnovers in the Midshipmen’s nine victories this season. In its three losses, Navy has been outscored 48-0 after turnovers. Oklahoma has outscored its opponents 77-9 after turnovers in its six victories in 2024. The Sooners have been outscored 104-55 after turnovers in their six losses.

112 Rushing yards per game were averaged by Oklahoma in its first seven games this season. The Sooners have averaged 215 rushing yards per game in the past five.

249 Rushing yards per game and 5.4 yards per carry have been averaged by the Navy offense this season. The Oklahoma defense has yielded an average of 106 rushing yards per game and 2.9 yards per carry in 2024.
