0 SEC players have scored more points than Alabama K Will Reichard, who has 480. Reichard is tied with Auburn’s Daniel Carlson, who scored 480 points from 2014 through 2017, for the conference’s career record.
2 Arkansas players have served as a team captain in three seasons – current QB KJ Jefferson and Herbert Fishback, who was a captain for Arkansas’ teams in 1895, 1896 and 1897.
2 SEC offenses have not produced a play that has gained at least 60 yards this season – Alabama and Georgia. The Crimson Tide’s longest gain is a 54-yard completion from QB Jalen Milroe to WR Jermaine Burton in a 24-10 victory over Ole Miss on Sept. 23. The Arkansas defense has not allowed a play of more than 49 yards this season.
6.5 Sacks by Alabama LB Dallas Turner this season, the most in the SEC. Arkansas has allowed 23 sacks this season. The only SEC team that has had its quarterback sacked more than the Razorbacks in 2023 is Alabama, with 26 sacks against.
7 Consecutive Alabama-Arkansas games have featured at least 40 points for the Crimson Tide. In its past seven meetings with the Razorbacks, Alabama won 49-30 in 2016, 41-9 in 2017, 65-31 in 2018, 48-7 in 2019, 52-3 in 2020, 42-35 in 2021 and 49-26 in 2022.
8 More receiving yards for Alabama WR Jermaine Burton in last week’s 26-20 victory over Texas A&M than he had in the Crimson Tide’s first five games of the season. Against the Aggies, Burton had nine receptions for 197 yards and two TDs. In Alabama’s other games this season, Burton had eight receptions for 189 yards and two TDs.
10 Coaches have posted 200 victories at one major-college football program. Alabama coach Nick Saban enters Saturday’s game with an on-the-field record of 199-28 with the Crimson Tide. If Alabama wins on Saturday, it would be the only program with two 200-game winners. The coaches who have won at least 200 games at one major-college program include Penn State’s Joe Paterno with 409 victories, Florida State’s Bobby Bowden with 304, BYU’s LaVell Edwards with 257, Nebraska’s Tom Osborne with 255, Chicago’s Amos Alonzo Stagg with 244, Virginia Tech’s Frank Beamer with 238, Alabama’s Paul “Bear” Bryant with 224 at Alabama, Kansas State’s Bill Snyder with 215, Ohio State’s Woody Hayes with 205 and Georgia’s Vince Dooley with 201.
16 Consecutive victories for Alabama against Arkansas. The Razorbacks most recently defeated the Crimson Tide 24-23 in double overtime in 2006. Alabama leads the series 26-7 on the field (although the official record is 23-8 after a forfeit and two vacated victories imposed by the NCAA).
17 Consecutive games with a TD pass for Arkansas QB KJ Jefferson. With 60 career TD passes, Jefferson trails Brandon Allen’s 64 and Ryan Mallett’s 62 in the school record book.
18 Consecutive victories against Arkansas have been recorded by teams coached by Nick Saban. Saban is 16-0 against the Razorbacks since coming to Alabama and guided LSU to victories over Arkansas in 2003 and 2004.
20 Consecutive homecoming games have been won by Alabama. Arkansas is the Crimson Tide’s homecoming opponent this season. Alabama has an 87-13-1 record on homecoming, with the last loss a 35-21 setback against LSU on Nov. 3, 2001.
25 Consecutive field-goal attempts have been made by Alabama K Will Reichard since he missed from 50 yards with 15 seconds left in 52-49 loss to Tennessee on Oct. 15, 2022. Reichard made his final 13 field-goal attempts in 2022 and has gone 12-of-12 in 2023.
26 Victories without a loss for Alabama under coach Nick Saban when the Crimson Tide’s game kicks off at 11:30 a.m. or earlier local time.
31 Points per game have been averaged by Alabama and Arkansas this season. The Crimson Tide has outscored its opponents 187-74 in 2023. The Razorbacks have outscored their opponents 188-152 in 2023.
38 Consecutive home games have been won in October by Alabama. The Crimson Tide hasn’t been beaten at Bryant-Denny Stadium in the 10th month since South Carolina took a 20-3 victory on Oct. 2, 2004.
65 300-yard passing games for Alabama quarterbacks after Jalen Milroe threw for 321 yards in a 26-20 victory over Texas A&M last week. With his first 300-yard game, Milroe became the 18th Alabama player with at least one game with 300 or more passing yards. The list dates to Scott Hunter, who passed for 300 yards in a 33-32 victory over Ole Miss on Oct. 4, 1969.
80 TDs have been accounted for by QB KJ Jefferson during his Arkansas career, the most in school history. Jefferson has 60 TD passes and 20 rushing TDs.
91 Rushing yards for Arkansas RB Raheim Sanders this season after he ran for 1,443 yards last season. Sanders missed the Razorbacks’ second, third and fourth games because of a knee injury sustained in the season-opener. Sanders ran for 101 yards and one TD on 22 carries in a 49-26 loss to Alabama last season.
98 Years since the previous time that Arkansas opened its conference schedule with four games away from home. The Razorbacks played at LSU on Sept. 23, faced Texas A&M in Arlington, Texas, on Sept. 30, visited Ole Miss on Oct. 7 and come to Tuscaloosa on Saturday before playing their first home league game of 2023 against Mississippi State on Oct. 21. In 1925 as a member of the Southwest Conference, Arkansas played its first four conference games away from home. The Razorbacks visited Rice, played LSU in Shreveport, Louisiana, and went to SMU and TCU before closing their conference campaign with a home game against Oklahoma State. Neither LSU nor Oklahoma State was an SWC member, but those games were designated as conference contests for Arkansas that season. In 1925, LSU was a member of the Southern Conference and Oklahoma State was in the Missouri Valley Intercollegiate Athletic Association.
302 Games have been played by Alabama since it was most recently shut out. Alabama’s scoring streak is the third-longest in SEC history and the 14th-longest in major-college football history. Alabama’s most recent shutout loss came 9-0 to Auburn on Nov. 18, 2000.
8,669 Yards of total offense for QB KJ Jefferson during his Arkansas career, the most in school history. Jefferson has 7,104 passing yards and 1,565 rushing yards.
