Arkansas fires offensive coordinator Dan Enos
Arkansas fired offensive coordinator Dan Enos on Sunday, a day after a home loss to Mississippi State in which the Razorbacks totaled just three points and 200 total yards.
Enos was in the first year of his second stint running the Razorbacks’ offense, having also done so under Bret Bielema from 2015-18. Arkansas (2-6 overall, 0-5 SEC) ranks last in the conference in both scoring offense (26.5 points per game) and total offense (305.9 yards per game).
The 55-year-old Enos was assistant head coach and quarterbacks coach at Alabama in 2018, but left abruptly at the end of that season to take a similar position at Miami. He’s also been an assistant at Maryland, Michigan State, Michigan and Cincinnati, in addition to a five-year stint as head coach at Central Michigan from 2010-14.
Arkansas wide receivers coach Kenny Guiton will take over play-calling duties for the remainder of the season. The Razorbacks have an open date before returning to the field on Nov. 4 at Florida.
