Apple Store at The Summit in Birmingham to open new location Saturday
Visitors to Birmingham’s The Summit may have noticed something out of the ordinary recently – or, in a strange way, familiar.
A storefront a few doors down from The Apple Store also sports the Apple logo, along with some metal barriers. A sign reads, “Get ready. Great things are in store. Apple The Summit. Opens Saturday, March 25, 10 a.m.”
A company spokesperson this afternoon confirmed the store will be relocating and opening to the public on Saturday.
“The opening of Apple The Summit will provide a new, easily accessible location for the local Birmingham community to connect and receive the best support from our Apple team members, whether they’re interested in exploring the latest Apple products or hoping to learn how to go further with their devices through Today at Apple programming,” the company said in a statement.
The location will be powered by 100% renewable energy.
The store will also be equipped to help customers interested in purchasing the new yellow iPhone 14, with trade-ins, special carrier deals, financial options and setup – in-store, online or through the Apple Store app.
