Apple has started sending out iPhone settlement money: Hereâs who qualifies
Apple has started paying iPhone users who were part of a 2020 class action lawsuit involving a slow-down of older model phones.
In 2020, the tech giant agreed to pay up to $500 million to settle the suit that claimed software updates were intentionally slowing down older iPhones in an effort to push customers towards newer models. Apple denied the claims and admitted no wrongdoing.
