Less than two weeks after groundbreakings were held for two Food Citys in Huntsville, a building permit has been issued for a third.

According to Southern Exposure Information, one was issued to KVAT Food Stores, which owns the food chain, for a $5.8 million building at 150 Old Gurley Road in northeast Huntsville. JA Street & Associates on Blountville, Tennessee, is listed as the builder.
