A new Chipotle is coming to the Birmingham metro area.

The restaurant will be located at 2641 Valleydale Rd. in Indian Springs Village, in a new development where it will serve as the anchor.

According to promotional material, the restaurant will be adjacent to Starbucks, sit in front of Walmart Neighborhood Market and across from Publix. Another two adjoining retail spaces are available, with 2,500 and 5,000 square feet.

Chipotle, which offers Mexican and southwestern-themed dishes, opened 304 company-owned restaurants with 257 locations last year. In 2024, the company reported its total revenue increased 14.6% to $11.3 billion.

The company, which currently has about 3,400 restaurants worldwide, eventually aims to reach 7,000 restaurants in North America.

Alabama is home to 30 Chipotle locations, including 10 currently in the Birmingham area.
