An all new episode of American Idol is scheduled to premiere on ABC Sunday, May 12 at 8/7c.

During Sunday night’s episode of American Idol, the Top 5 will participate in the highly anticipated Disney Night where everyone will perform two songs from classic Disney movies after visiting Walt Disney World.

Country music star Kane Brown will also make a special appearance and serve as a mentor. At the end of the episode, the Top 5 will be cut down to the Top 3 leading up to the season 22 finale.

Where can I watch American Idol season 22 without cable?

Those without basic cable can still live stream new episodes of American Idol the same day they premiere with Fubo or DirecTV Stream.

Who are the American Idol judges?

Since the show’s return in 2018, the panel of American Idol judges have been Lionel Richie, Luke Bryan and Katy Perry.

Perry announced that season 22 will be her last season on the show. It has not been announced who will replace her in season 23.
