Amber Alert issued for 2 children taken in south Alabama carjacking
An Amber Alert was issued early Friday morning for two children taken from a south Alabama truck stop in a carjacking, officials said.
Levi Allen Gulley, white male, 4, and Eleanor Marie Gulley, white female, 3, were last seen Thursday at approximately 10:32 p.m., according to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency.
“Levi was wearing an adult size pink hoodie and white and blue pajama pants, Eleanor was wearing a Paw Patrol shirt and blue pants,” the notice read.
“They were at the Love’s Truck Stop at 2600 west I-65 Service Road (in Prichard) and are believed to be in extreme danger.”
The boy and girl were seen in a white Ford F250 with a Tennessee license plate. The license plate number is unknown.
The truck was towing a trailer with several new appliances still in the box and an orange suite case in the tailgate.
The children were in the truck at the Love’s Truck Stop at 2600 West I-65 Service Road in Prichard when it was taken in a carjacking, ALEA said. They are believed to be in extreme danger.
“The abductor is described as a (Black) male with brown eyes, black braided hair and tattoos on his arms and neck. The abductor was wearing a white tank top and dark colored jeans with rips, and designs on the back pockets,” ALEA’s statement read.
