Alabama’s Ryan Williams reveals what his rating should be in College Football ‘26

Ryan Williams was announced as one of the two players on the cover of the 2026 edition of the EA Sports College Football video game.

During the photo shoot, the Alabama receiver was asked what he thinks his rating should be for the new game.

“Last year, I finished strong with a 90 overall,” Williams said in a video released on social media by the University of Alabama. “This year, at the beginning of the season, we need to be a 94-95. We have to start strong. By the end of the season, we gonna have that 99.”

Williams is featured along with fellow sophomore wide receiver Jeremiah Smith of Ohio State.

The Saraland High School product couldn’t help but smile when examining a potential rating.

“We don’t need to worry about that,” he said. “That’s not a true overall. You don’t really need that to be good at the game. You just need to be fast.”

He isn’t being greedy. Last year, his strength was a 55. He added he wants a 62 this year.

He joked if he got to a 65, he might even block.

It’s a dream come true for Williams, who said his 10-year-old self wouldn’t believe he made the cover of the popular game.
