Alabama’s Jason Isbell to perform 8 shows at Ryman with 400 Unit: Find tickets

Alabama native Jason Isbell is touring with his band, the 400 Unit, made up primarily of musicians from Muscle Shoals.

They will be at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville for eight performances this month.

Isbell and the 400 Unit released an album, Weathervanes, in June 2023. Isbell is also known for his work as a member of the Drive-By Truckers and as a solo artist.

Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit will perform at the Ryman on Oct. 10-13 and Oct. 17-20. Opening acts will vary for each date and will include Alice Randall, Garrison Starr, Mary Gauthier, Caitlin Rose, Matraca Berg, Iris Dement, Gretchen Peters and Kim Richey.

At the time of this writing, tickets were still available on secondary markets at StubHub | SeatGeek | Vividseats | Ticketmaster.

Isbell is also an actor, appearing in the TV shows “Squidbillies” and “Billions” and films such as “Deadwood: The Movie” and “Killers of the Flower Moon.”

He performed at the Democratic National Convention in August.

In 2021, Isbell and the 400 Unit contributed a cover of the Metallica song “Sad But True” for the group’s charity tribute album “The Metallica Blacklist.”
