Alabama’s Jalen Milroe asked if Michigan knew plays, cheated

Jalen Milroe didn’t take the bait.

Milroe, who appeared on the “Bussin With the Boys” podcast, was asked by host Taylor Lewan: “Do you think Michigan cheated?”

The Alabama quarterback, showing the maturity of a seasoned quarterback, didn’t give Michigan fans anything to feast on. In fact, he just repeated the same couple of phrases in his response.

“It don’t matter,” he said. “They won. They won. It don’t matter, they won.”

He was also asked about his final offensive play in Alabama’s 27-20 loss to Michigan in the CFP.

Milroe caught a low snap on fourth down in overtime at the Rose Bowl and ran straight ahead into wall of defenders on quarterback draw up the middle.

Was Roydell Williams open? Would he have scored?

“We’ll never know,” Milroe said. “I’ll be real like, that truly made me really love the coaching staff because you can see how much they believed in me. It is probably one of the most impactful plays of our whole season. And the balls in my hands on the last play of the game. That speaks a lot about our coaches that believe in me. So, I took it as a positive although we came out short.”
