Alabama’s Christmas weather forecast: Warmer temperatures are on the way

A little warmth will return to Alabama just in time for Christmas.

The National Weather Service is forecasting warm-ish temperatures but the possibility of rain for Christmas Day, Dec. 25, which is next Wednesday.

High temperatures on Christmas Day will range from the mid- to upper 50s in north Alabama, the low to mid- 60s in central Alabama to the mid- to upper 60s in south Alabama. (The temperature forecast for Christmas Day is at the top of this post.)

So far there are no storms in the forecast for either Christmas Eve or Christmas Day, according to forecasts from NOAA’s Storm Prediction Center. But forecasters will be keeping a close eye on conditions in case that changes.
