Alabama woman wanted in connection with deadly shooting

Selma police are looking for a woman wanted on murder and first degree assault charges after a deadly shooting May 3.

According to police, Taylor Thomas, 29, is responsible for a shooting that left one person dead and another injured.

Officers were dispatched to the 100 Block of Alabama Ave. on May 3, in connection with two gunshot victims. By the time police arrived, the two – a man and a woman – had already been transferred to the Vaughan Regional Medical Center.

The man was transferred to Baptist Medical Center South where he later died from his injuries.
