Alabama woman killed, 4 children injured in crash
An Alabama woman died and her four grandchildren suffered injuries in a two-vehicle crash in Lauderdale County on Thursday morning, according to the coroner’s office.
Emma Wade, 63, died as a result of the crash, said Lauderdale County Coroner Kim Jones.
The crash happened about 9 a.m. on Alabama 64 near Center Hill Market.
Emergency workers airlifted Wade’s four grandchildren to Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt in Nashville for treatment, Jones told AL.com.
Jones said there were no injuries reported in the other vehicle.
