The caller, a family member, said Maria Caamano was shot by her husband, Refugio Caamano-Lopez.

Deputies found Refugio in the back bedroom with an apparent gunshot wound to the center of his forehead, according to the release.

Maria was taken to a hospital and Refugio was pronounced dead at the scene.
