Alabama vs Mercer: live updates, injury report, scoring and more from Bryant-Denny Stadium

Alabama football aims to score a victory over Mercer, fresh off the Crimson Tide’s big road win over LSU with coach Kalen DeBoer.

Alabama has minimal room for error in terms of the College Football Playoff. The Crimson Tide likely needs to win out to make the first 12-team field, already with two losses heading into the Mercer game. But the Crimson Tide should be favored in all of its last three games to close out the regular season. So if Alabama takes care of business, it should make the playoff.

That continues Saturday with the matchup against the FCS Bears, who are first in the Southern conference right now with a 6-1 record and a 9-1 overall record.

Kickoff is set for 1 p.m. CT at Bryant-Denny Stadium. The game can be viewed on SEC Network+.
