Alabama-USF TV camera work slammed on social media; Here’s reason why it’s bad

Those watching No. 10 Alabama play at USF on Saturday are, no doubt, frustrated by what they are watching.

Not only is Nick Saban’s Crimson Tide in a 3-3 dog fight with the Bulls, the camera angles have been less than stellar.

After a one-hour weather delay because of lightning, the teams resumed play. However, ESPN’s cameramen were not cleared to return to their posts. Therefore, ESPN had to resort to the use of stationary, wide-shot cameras.

ESPN did report during the broadcast it does expect its cameramen to be cleared to work the second half.

The reaction has been one of frustration.
