Alabama under a wind advisory until Wednesday evening
On Tuesday at 2:36 p.m. the National Weather Service issued a wind advisory in effect until Wednesday at 6 p.m. for Lowndes, Montgomery, Macon, Bullock, Lee, Russell, Pike and Barbour counties.
The weather service states, “Southwest winds 15 to 20 mph with gusts up to 40 mph.”
“Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result,” says the weather service. “Use extra caution when driving, especially if operating a high profile vehicle. Secure outdoor objects.”
