Alabama’s highlight video recapping the 26-20 win over Texas A&M on Saturday in College Station has a healthy helping of Chris Doering.

The SEC Network analyst made a bold prediction heading into the crucial SEC West game, picking the Aggies to win in every facet of the game.

“The problem for me is I don’t think the right team is favored in this one,” he said. “Texas A&M is the better team on offense. Texas A&M is the better team on defense. Texas A&M is the better team on special teams.

“And, oh by the way, you’re playing at home where you beat the Tide the last time you two played in this location? Give me the Aggies in this game. They are not only going to get themselves ranked, they are going to establish themselves as a true possibility to win the SEC Championship this year.”

Clearly, that didn’t really work out for the Aggies or Doering, and the Alabama social media team made note of that.

While Doering pointed out how A&M is better in all phases of the game. On Saturday, it was the Tide who shined.

On offense, Jalen Milroe passed for a career-high 321 yards and Jermaine Burton caught two touchdown passes. Burton had nine catches for 197 yards for the Crimson Tide. Milroe, the Texas native, completed 21 of 33 passes.

On defense, the Tide held the Aggies to just three second-half points.

On special teams, Alabama blocked a field goal.
