Alabama-Texas game was ESPNâs most-viewed in 8 years
Texas’ 34-24 victory over Alabama on Saturday in Tuscaloosa was ESPN’s most-viewed regular-season college football game since 2015, the network announced Tuesday.
The Longhorns-Crimson Tide game drew 8.8 million viewers, peaking at 10.7 million between 9:15 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. It was the most-viewed Saturday college football game on ESPN since 2014.
In addition, Field Pass with The Pat MacAfee Show — ESPN2′s alternate broadcast of the Alabama-Texas game — drew 799,000 viewers. It was the most-viewed college football alternate broadcast since the 2018 national championship game between Alabama and Georgia.
