Alabama-Tennessee kickoff time, TV set
Alabama football’s revenge game against Tennessee has its kickoff time and television assignment. The Crimson Tide and the Volunteers will face off at 2:30 p.m
The game will be aired on CBS. It’s Alabama’s third game in that time slot this season.
Last year, Tennessee broke a 15-year streak of losses to UA. That game was at Neyland Stadium in Knoxville, and prompted a field rush by fans of the Volunteers, which tends to happen against the Tide.
The last time the game was played in Tuscaloosa was 2021. The Tide won that game 52-24.
Alabama will be entering the game off of Saturday’s matchup with Arkansas. That game, in Tuscaloosa, which serves as homecoming for the Crimson Tide, will be UA’s first 11 a.m. kickoff of the season.
Tennessee sits at 4-1 on the season, 1-1 in SEC play. The Volunteers lost their first SEC game of the season, against Florida in Gainesville.
UT hasn’t looked quite to the level it reached in 2022 this season. Quarterback Hendon Hooker is off to the NFL, and Joe Milton has looked inconsistent at times in his spot.
The Volunteers beat South Carolina on Saturday in Knoxville. They’ll face Texas A&M this Saturday at home.
Alabama’s 11 a.m. game against Arkansas on Saturday will be aired on ESPN.
