Alabama teacher allegedly kissed student, told her he ‘wanted to make love to her’

A Prattville High School teacher was taken into custody Thursday after he reportedly kissed a student and told her he “wanted to make love to her.”

Daniel James “DJ” Forman, 31, is charged with one count of sexual contact with a student under the age of 19, according to court records. He was booked into the Autauga County Jail at 12:50 p.m.

The Prattville High School website lists Forman as a special education teacher, and court records say he was also a coach.

The alleged crime happened Oct. 27 at Forman’s home on Dawson Mill Drive in Prattville.

Charging documents state the 18-year-old female student was at Forman’s home and the two were kissing. He is accused of fondling her breasts and genitals, records contend, and telling her he wanted to make love to her.

Forman’s bond is set at $45,000.
