Alabama Roots: 2025 NFL Draft picks

Twenty-one prospects who played at Alabama high schools and colleges had their names called when the NFL held its 90th annual draft Thursday through Saturday.

The prospects reached the NFL from Alabama, Auburn and Alabama A&M, and nine played at Alabama high schools.

Fifteen NFL teams added players with Alabama football roots, with the Dallas Cowboys, Indianapolis Colts, Jacksonville Jaguars, Los Angeles Chargers, Philadelphia Eagles and Seattle Seahawks taking two apiece.

The prospects who played at Alabama high schools and colleges entering the NFL through the 2025 draft included:

The Alabama guard was the 12th pick.

The Alabama linebacker was the 31st pick.

The Ohio State running back was the 36th pick. Judkins played at Pike Road High School.

The Ole Miss cornerback was the 61st pick. Amos played at Alabama in 2023 before transferring to Ole Miss.

The Tulane cornerback was the 88th pick. Ransaw played at Sparkman High School and spent three seasons at Troy before transferring to Tulane.
