Alabama players, Tide signee shine in Under Armour Next All-America Game

An Alabama high school quarterback headed to the University of Texas and a Texas high school quarterback bound for the University of Alabama were among the stars of the Under Armour Next All-America Game in Deland, Fla., on Thursday.

Five-star Keelon Russell of national power Duncanville High School was as advertised in his final game before arriving in Tuscaloosa. Competing for Team Icon, Russell completed 7-of-11 passes for 120 yards and a touchdown. He also had a 2-point conversion run and another 20-yard scramble to lead his team to a 31-19 win.
