A Talladega man died in a one-vehicle crash on Saturday, state troopers said.

Cameron S. Gaston, 32, died after the 2009 Ford Focus he was driving left the road and struck a tree at about 8 p.m., Alabama Law Enforcement Agency senior trooper Brandon Bailey said in a press release.

The release stated the man was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident.

“The crash occurred on Alabama 34 near Jeter Road, approximately six miles south of Lincoln, in Talladega County,” Bailey said.

The crash remains under investigation.
