Alabama man allegedly crawled under a house, spied on woman through a hole in the floor

Police in Fort Payne have arrested a man after they say he had crawled under a woman’s home and was caught watching her in the bathroom.

Anibal Diaz-Domingo, 41, of Fort Deposit, is being held in the DeKalb County Jail on charges of felony aggravated surveillance, driving under the influence, second degree burglary and immigration charges.

According to Fort Payne Police Chief David Davis, a call came into police at about 9:12 p.m. Sunday, when a man was being detained by a group of people. The group had surrounded his vehicle not letting him drive off, he said.

Domingo was arrested at the scene for DUI.

However, police added the surveillance charge Tuesday after investigation.

According to court documents, a Fort Payne woman was in the bathroom of her mobile home Sunday.

While there, she saw a man watching her through a hole in the floor.

The man had apparently crawled underneath the trailer in order to spy on her. When the woman noticed him, he ran off to his vehicle.

When taken into custody, Domingo had his pants undone and falling down his legs, according to court documents.
