Alabama lands commit from 4-star LB Abduall Sanders in class of 2025
Alabama football landed its second linebacker commitment in as many days on Thursday. Abduall Sanders, a four-star prospect from California, announced he’ll be joining the Crimson Tide’s class of 2025.
Sanders is rated as the No. 36 linebacker in the class according to the 247Sports composite rankings He’s ranked as the No. 334 player in the class.
He shared the news to his social media on Thursday, in conjunction with Hayes Fawcett of On3 Sports. Sanders chose the Crimson Tide over offers from Tennessee, UCLA and Baylor among others.
Sanders plays his high school football at Mater Dei in Santa Ana. He stands 6-foot-2 and weighs in at 210 pounds.
With the addition of Sanders, Alabama’s 2025 recruiting class jumped to No. 8 in the 247Sports composite rankings. He became the seventh overall player in the class.
Alabama had been ranked 10th before his addition. The Tide leapfrogged Texas Tech and Wisconsin with the move.
Sanders became the second linebacker in the 2025 group. He joined Darrell “Duke” Johnson, who announced his intentions to join the Crimson Tide on Wednesday.
