Both buyers and sellers can find something to be optimistic about in this month’s new Alabama real estate report, as both sales and prices are continuing to increase, as well as more housing options becoming available.

The report, from the Alabama Association of Realtors, shows a fourth consecutive month of increases, while prices and available listings are down sharply from this time last year.

“Buyers who act now, while inventory is high, have a great opportunity to find the perfect home or property,” Alabama Realtors CEO Jeremy Walker said.
