A high school in Tuscaloosa will no longer have varsity sports following an announcement on Wednesday.

Holt High School principal Dr. Daniel Dickens and Tuscaloosa County School System Superintendent Dr. Keri Johnson announced that the high school will be cutting its varsity sports teams following the 2025-26 season.
