Alabama GOP on Biden’s bow out: ‘Power-hungry globalists will stop at nothing’

Alabama Republican Party Chairman John Wahl Sunday said the “Democratic establishment has once again shown their true colors” following President Joe Biden’s decision to drop out of the 2024 presidential race.

Wahl, in a statement posted on X/Twitter, accused the party’s leadership of “pushing” Biden out of the race, calling it a “shameful manipulation of the election process.”

“This group of power-hungry globalists will stop at nothing to keep themselves in control,” Wahl wrote.

He went on to say Biden’s “declining support” was the result of “failed and ineffective policies.”

“The DNC’s solution seems to be Kamala Harris, but as Vice President, she has been an integral part of those same failed policies,” he said. “Her nomination would represent nothing more than a continuation of the same destructive agendas that have made America weaker, our citizens poorer, and our communities less safe.”

Last week, Wahl said the media was “partially responsible” for the assassination attempt on former President Donald Trump because of its “relentless demonization and vilification of Donald Trump.”

“Their political bias towards a presidential candidate only serves to sow division and discord within our nation,” Wahl said.

“The American people deserve better. It is time for everyone to step back from political rhetoric, and look at every person as an individual made in the image of God. I call on the Democratic Party and mainstream media to stop their inflammatory attacks, which incites individuals against Donald Trump and his supporters.”
