Alabama football schedules home-and-home with Big 10 program

Alabama football is heading to the Midwest. The Crimson Tide announced a home-and-home with Minnesota for the 2032 and 2033 seasons.

As conference realignment persists and teams look for scheduling advantages, many Power Five programs have organized inter-conference games. Minnesota is the third Big 10 team Alabama has added to the slate in the next decade, joining Wisconsin (2024 and 2025) and Ohio State (2027 and 2028).

It’ll be the first regular-season matchup between the Golden Gophers and the Tide. Minnesota won the only other meeting in the 2004 Music City Bowl, 20-16. The new series will start on Sept. 18, 2032, in Minneapolis before returning to Tuscaloosa on Sept. 17, 2023.

Also set for those seasons is a set against Arizona. Alabama will host the Wildcats on Sept. 4, 2032, and travel to Arizona on Sept. 3, 2023.

Currently, No. 3 Tide is 6-0 and travels to No. 6 Tennessee on Saturday for a 2:30 p.m. CDT kickoff.
