Alabama football lands in-state 2025 recruit after Arkansas win
Alabama football received some good news to cap off its homecoming weekend. Myles Johnson, part of the class of 2025, committed to Nick Saban and the Crimson Tide.
Johnson is currently a linebacker at Brewton, Alabama’s T.R. Miller High School. He’s rated as a three-star athlete by 247Sports. The Tide offered Johnson in June. He held offers from Mississippi State and Liberty among others.
“It’s a dream come true. To be honest, the day that I got the offer was the day I realized it was home,” Johnson told BamaOnLine.
The Tide now has seven recruits among current high school juniors, four of whom are Alabama natives: Saraland’s Ryan Williams and Antonio Coleman, and Anthony Rogers, who transferred to IMG (Fla.) Academy this summer.
The class is ranked second overall according to 247Sports Composite team rankings. Johnson has helped Miller to a 5-2 overall record in AHSAA Class 4A, Region 1. On Saturday, Alabama improved to 6-1 with a 24-21 win over Arkansas.
