Alabama football defensive lineman plans to enter transfer portal
Alabama football defensive lineman Hunter Osborne plans to enter the transfer portal, he told On3 on Monday.
“Blessed to have the opportunity to say I was apart of the crimson tide,” Osborne posted to X/Twitter. “Looking forward to the blessings to come in the future.”
Osborne is listed at 6-4, 298 pounds. He played in the Western Kentucky, Wisconsin, Missouri and Mercer games in 2024. He did not play in 2023, deciding to use it as a redshirt year.
Osborne is a former four-star recruit out of Hewitt-Trussville. He joined Alabama via the 2023 recruiting class.
The transfer portal opened Monday and will stay open for 20 days.
Osborne joins players such as offensive lineman Miles McVay, receivers Caleb Odom, Kobe Prentice and Kendrick Law, linebacker Keanu Koht, defensive lineman Jehiem Oatis and cornerback Jahlil Hurley as players on this year’s roster who have entered or plan to enter the transfer portal.
