One of two inmates who escaped from Lawrence County Jail has been recaptured, according to authorities.

WHNT is reporting that Adam Bolan, 45, was taken back into custody Tuesday in Knoxville, Tenn.

Quittney Lashae Nichols, 30, is still at large.

Bolan, who was being held on a drug trafficking charge, escaped from Lawrence County Jail on March 4, using a mat to protect himself from razor wire as he went over, according to authorities.

Bolan was taken into custody during a traffic stop in Knoxville with a female. He is awaiting extradition, while the woman may be charged as an accomplice.

Nichols, held on a probation violation, walked away from her job at a local restaurant on the work release program on Feb. 8.
