Alabama car pursuit ends in airborne crash
A high-speed pursuit over the weekend resulted in an airborne car crash after the suspect hit a levee in Geneva, according to WDHN.
The car chase was initiated in Florala, Ala. where the driver took the car through several residential yards and continued onto State Highway 52 eastbound.
The chase ultimately ended in Geneva, where the Geneva Police Department took over the pursuit.
According to WDHN, the driver went through downtown Geneva, where the vehicle hit a dead end, went airborne after hitting the 48-foot levee and crashed on the other side.
According to Geneva Police Department Chief Pepper Mock, the driver almost hit seven cars between Samson and Geneva.
The driver suffered minor injuries from the crash.
