Alabama basketball nabs 3rd transfer, 2nd of weekend with Latrell Wrightsell
A day after adding Aaron Estrada via the transfer portal, Alabama men’s basketball continued to bolster next season’s roster. Latrell Wrightsell Jr., a guard from Cal State Fullerton, announced his commitment on Sunday.
Wrightsell is a native of Omaha, Nebraska. He worked his way into the starting rotation as a freshman and averaged 9.0 points per game in the Big West Conference. His shooting and production dipped across 20 starts as a sophomore but Wrightsell improved his junior year. He shot a career-best 42.4% from the floor, scoring 16.3 points per game.
