Alabama All-Pros: 3 new names lift list to 28
Twenty-eight Alabama alumni have been chosen as first-team selections on The Associated Press All-Pro squad after Las Vegas Raiders running back Josh Jacobs, Denver Broncos cornerback Patrick Surtain II and New York Jets defensive tackle Quinnen Williams received the NFL honor for the first time on Friday.
Pittsburgh Steelers safety Minkah Fitzpatrick also earned All-Pro recognition for the 2022 NFL season, giving Alabama four former players on the first team, along with two second-teamers – Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts and Jets linebacker C.J. Mosley.

Eight other Crimson Tide alumni received votes from the panel of 50 media members who selected this season’s All-Pro team – Washington Commanders defensive tackle Jonathan Allen, Eagles left guard Landon Dickerson, Dallas Cowboys cornerback Trevon Diggs, Tennessee Titans running back Derrick Henry, Baltimore Ravens cornerback Marlon Humphrey, Commanders defensive tackle Daron Payne, Los Angeles Chargers punter JK Scott and Miami Dolphins wide receiver Jaylen Waddle.
Fitzpatrick’s third All-Pro first-team selection left the defensive back with more than all but three Alabama alumni – Don Hutson, John Hannah and Dwight Stephenson.
Jacobs became the third Alabama alumnus to be the All-Pro first-team running back, joining Henry and Shaun Alexander.
Williams became the third Alabama alumnus to be an All-Pro first-team defensive lineman, joining Bob Baumhower and Marcell Dareus.
Surtain became the third active Alabama alumnus to be an All-Pro first-team cornerback, joining Diggs and Humphrey.
Former Crimson Tide players have been selected as first-team All-Pros 48 times.
