Alabama 2024 football schedule released. See full slate of games
Alabama football’s 2024 schedule is here. Entering Wednesday’s SEC schedule release show, most of the team’s games were already known, whether already officially released by the league, or reported by ESPN, which takes over the conference TV rights in full.
Regardless, there were still three games not official. Alabama now has dates for the Missouri, South Carolina and Vanderbilt matchups.
The Crimson Tide will face the Gamecocks in Tuscaloosa on Oct. 12 and the Tigers on Oct. 26. UA will travel to Nashville to play the Commodores on Oct. 5.
Alabama’s season opens against Western Kentucky on Aug. 31. Highlights of the schedule include a trip to Wisconsin on Sept. 14, A Sept. 28 matchup with Georgia at Bryant-Denny Stadium to rematch the SEC championship game, and UA’s first trip to Oklahoma on Nov. 23. to face the Sooners in their first year as an SEC team.
The Iron Bowl against Auburn falls on Nov. 30. Alabama’s byes fall in Week 4 and Week 10.
This year’s Alabama team hasn’t finished its season just yet. After beating Georgia for the SEC title to move to 12-1 on the year, the Tide was placed in the College Football Playoff.
UA faces Michigan in the Rose Bowl on Jan. 1. If Alabama wins that game, it will play either Texas or Washington in the national championship game in Houston on Jan. 8.
