Here are AL.com’s SEC football players of the week for Week 11 of the 2023 season:
Offense
Jayden Daniels, QB, LSU — Daniels continued his record-setting campaign in a 52-35 victory over Florida, accounting for 606 yards of total offense (372 passing, 234 rushing) and five touchdowns. The senior from San Bernardino, Calif., is the first SEC player to top 600 yards in a game, and the first FBS player to top 350 yards passing and 200 rushing in the same game.
Defense
Jalen McLeod, LB, Auburn — McLeod was a one-man wrecking ball in a 47-10 rout of Arkansas. The junior from Washington, D.C., totaled nine tackles, four tackles for loss, three sacks and a forced fumble as the Tigers won their third straight game and achieved bowl-eligibility.
Special teams
Keionte Scott, PR, Auburn — Scott also helped spark the dominant win over the Razorbacks by returning a punt 74 yards for a touchdown in the first quarter to give the Tigers a 14-0 lead. The junior from San Diego also totaled three tackles from his nickelback position for an Auburn defense that held Arkansas to just 255 yards and 10 points.
