Saraland stands alone at the No. 1 spot in this week’s AL.com Power 25 high school football rankings.

The Spartans remained undefeated last week with a 70-20 win over Class 7A Foley. For the past two weeks, they were tied with Thompson on top of the Power 25. However, Clay-Chalkville’s 36-33 win at Thompson on Thursday dropped the Warriors to No. 4.

The Power 25 attempts to rank the best high school football teams in Alabama regardless of classification.

The two top P25 matchups this week pit No. 16 Dothan at No. 2 Central-Phenix City and No. 4 Thompson at No. 6 Hewitt-Trussville.
